Terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
In short. drivqo is a free educational app about how cars work. Lessons explain ideas. They are not instructions to repair, modify, or diagnose your vehicle. The app is free today. Optional paid features may be offered later, and you would choose them before paying anything.
Accepting these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Drivqo. They cover the drivqo app and the website at drivqo.app. By using either one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the website.
You also agree to the privacy policy, which explains what information is collected and why.
The service
drivqo is a micro-learning product. It offers short lessons that explain how cars work, for beginners, hobbyists, and curious explorers. Lessons use plain language and may simplify a system so the idea can be learned in a few minutes.
drivqo is not a repair shop, a driving school, a roadside service, or a substitute for a vehicle manufacturer’s documentation. It does not control your car, and it cannot see the condition of a specific vehicle.
Free use, and possible paid features later
The app is free to download and use today. We do not currently charge a subscription or sell in-app purchases.
We may introduce optional paid features or a subscription later. If we do:
- The price, the billing period, and what you receive will be shown before you pay.
- You will not be charged unless you choose that option.
- Purchases made through Google Play are handled by Google. Google’s refund, cancellation, and renewal rules apply to those purchases, along with the description shown at the time you buy.
- We will describe any change to what is free before it takes effect.
Features and lessons can change as the product improves. We do not promise that every lesson or screen will stay available in the same form forever.
Accounts
An account is optional. You may use lessons without one. If you sign in, you do so with Google Sign-In. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.
You can sign out from the profile area of the app. You can delete your account there, or on the delete account page. Deleting the account removes the profile, progress, and saved lessons stored for it, as described in the privacy policy. Progress kept only on a device, because you were not signed in, remains on that device until you clear it.
Your responsibilities
Use drivqo for personal learning. You agree not to:
- Misuse the service, interfere with it, or try to access accounts, data, or systems you do not own.
- Copy, resell, or republish a substantial part of the lessons, illustrations, or text, except for a short quotation with credit where the law already allows it.
- Remove credits or present drivqo material as your own product.
- Use the service to break the law or to harm someone else.
- Rely on a lesson as the only guide for work that affects safety.
You are responsible for how you drive and for how you work on a vehicle. Follow the law, the owner’s manual, and the limits of your own skill.
Intellectual property
The drivqo app, website, lessons, text, illustrations, design, and the drivqo name and logo are owned by Drivqo or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and website for your own learning, for as long as these terms allow.
Names of vehicles, parts, and manufacturers belong to their owners. We use them only so a lesson can speak clearly. Nothing here transfers those rights.
Educational use only
Lessons are for general education. They simplify complex machines, and they cannot cover every model year, option, modification, or road situation. A description of how brakes, engines, or suspension work is not a procedure for repairing yours.
Do not maintain, diagnose, modify, or repair a vehicle based only on drivqo. Use the manufacturer’s instructions for that vehicle. When safety, wear, or a fault is involved, use a qualified technician. If a lesson and your owner’s manual disagree, follow the manual.
Driving instruction, if it appears in a lesson at all, is general background. It is not a license, a certification, or advice for a particular road.
Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, drivqo is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that lessons are complete for your vehicle, that the app will always be available, or that it will be free of errors. We disclaim implied warranties that the law allows us to disclaim, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, Drivqo and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. We are not liable for injury, property damage, or vehicle damage that results from treating educational content as professional mechanical, driving, or safety advice.
Some places do not allow certain disclaimers or limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is prohibited.
If you have paid us anything, and a non-excludable right requires a refund or a cap, our total liability for a claim relating to the paid feature is limited to the amount you paid us for that feature in the three months before the claim, unless the law requires more.
Ending access
You may stop using drivqo at any time and delete your account if you have one.
We may suspend or close access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we need to protect the service, other people, or our legal rights. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why. We may also discontinue the service. If we shut it down entirely, we will try to give notice on the website or in the app when we can.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top will change when we do. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to tell you in the app or on the website. If you keep using drivqo after the update takes effect, the new terms apply, except where the law says we need a clearer form of agreement.
